2021 Seaside Award winner. This is a lovely shingle beach. The adjoining promenade is excellent for taking a pleasant stroll.
Once described as the "park by the sea", the park has a sports complex, including the Erias Stadium and Colwyn Leisure Centre.
Badgers and Foxes hunt the quieter parts, birds nest in the hedges or feed on the berries in winter, you may see up to 10 kinds of butterfly in summer.
This busy little beach is only 300 metres long but it lies between a kilometre of sand dunes and a further 2 kilometres of vast sand flats.
