Discover Bucks Museum tells the story of the people and landscapes of Buckinghamshire, from prehistoric times through to the present day - with 130,000 items in collections built up over the last 150 years. It showcases the best of Bucks heritage: archaeology, social history, natural history, geology, art, costumes and photographs. We also house the famous Lenborough Hoard, one of the largest hoards of Anglo-Saxon silver coins ever found.
Look out for our special exhibitions and events held throughout the year including crafts workshops, replica digs, storytelling, puppetry & historical re-enactments.
Our Roald Dahl Children's Gallery is an interactive wonder for youngsters, using characters and themes from Dahl's books.
Our cafe offers drinks, snacks & light meals for you to enjoy indoors or in our beautful Victorian walled garden, and our shop sells books, toys, greetings cards & gifts for all occasions.
