More Information

This mill is the only surviving example of its kind in the UK, and it has been preserved as a working museum where you can see how flour was made in the past. You can explore the different floors of the mill, where you can learn about the machinery, the history and the people who worked there.

You can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the mill, where you can walk along the river, visit the craft shops and cafes, or relax in the picnic area. Caudwell's Mill at Rowsley is a great place to spend a day with your family or friends, and you will be amazed by the engineering and craftsmanship that went into making this mill.
