What will you do?
The experienced potter will show you the basics before sitting you at the same wheel and sending you off to do some competitive and collaborative pottery throwing!
To start, you'll sit opposite each other at the same wheel and each make your own pot individually with hands-on assistance from the potter. This is a practise throw to get you used to the clay. See who can make the best pot.
Next, you'll try your hands at throwing two pots together. Not as easy as it sounds ... you'll need to work together, which can be a challenge for some. Take it up a notch and put on a blindfold to make it even trickier!
Finish the day with a few unique pieces, handmade by the two of you.
