Shuttleworth is based in Old Warden, Bedfordshire, just off the A1 at Biggleswade. Originally the home, gardens and vintage aircraft & vehicle collection of the Shuttleworth family, it is now one of Bedfordshire’s most interesting visitor attractions. The Collection and Swiss Garden are open to the public, and The House regularly hosts conferences and business events.
Our mission and purpose is for the: Promotion of Education and training in the science, practice and history of Aviation and Automotive transport; The promotion of Education and training in the science, practice Agriculture, food production and management of rural resources by making arrangements for the provision and conduct of a College.
It is free to enter Shuttleworth (excluding event days) to use our gift shop, Runway Café, children's playground, or to view the activity on our historic grass airfield.
