If you want to enjoy a long and scenic ride that covers the North Somerset Levels and the Mendip Hills AONB, you should try the 10-mile Yatton-Cheddar part of the Strawberry Line.
You will love the 2-mile section from Wells to Dulcote, where you can see beautiful forests and amazing views of Wells Cathedral on the hillside. There are also some new sections at Westbury-sub-Mendip and Shepton Mallet that show how wonderful and eco-friendly this trail is.
All the routes are easy to access, with a smooth surface and gentle slopes. The only exception is a fairly steep lane (Racurium Cottage) at Axbridge.
