Gibraltar Point covers an area of about 4.3 kmĀ² and consists of various habitats, such as sandy and muddy seashore, sand dunes, salt marshes, freshwater marshes, ponds and lagoons.
It is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, especially birds, which can be seen in different seasons throughout the year. Some of the notable species that can be found at Gibraltar Point are little terns, spoonbills, brent geese, short-eared owls and common seals.
The reserve also has a visitor centre, a cafe, a gift shop and several bird hides.
Gibraltar Point is worth visiting for its impressive views, unspoilt landscape and wildlife watching opportunities.
