Renovated by the council in 2010 with the help of the Heritage Lottery Fund and Big Lottery Fund.

There are many things to see and enjoy in the garden, such as:

- The Cloisters, which are the remains of the old Art School

- The Fountain, which is a Grade II listed monument

- The Lawn area, where you can have a picnic and relax

- The Mature trees, which provide shade and beauty

- The Rose Temple, which is another Grade II listed monument and a stunning feature of the garden

- The Summer House, which is also a Grade II listed monument and has information on the garden's history

- The Variety of roses, shrubs, perennials and bulbs, which create a colourful and fragrant display throughout the year
