The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art is a centre for contemporary art located on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, England. It hosts a frequently changing variety of exhibitions, events, and educational programmes with no permanent exhibition. It was opened in 2002 in a converted flour mill that dates back to 1950. The centre has 2,600 square metres of exhibition space dedicated to the art and artists of today and tomorrow.
