New to Wednesbury is Brunswick Park parkrun. Parkrun is a FREE weekly 5k timed event that is nationwide and also worldwide. The event takes place every Saturday at 9am and everyone is welcome to come along. You don’t have to be a runner to take part, you can jog or even walk and if you don’t fancy that then come along and join our wonderful group of volunteers, as we need people to marshal around the course plus other additional various roles. It’s a fantastic way of bringing the community together, and also gets people out and about whilst making new friends in the process.
